{"id":43984,"date":"2024-05-13T10:16:33","date_gmt":"2024-05-13T06:16:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.savoryandpartners.com\/?p=43984"},"modified":"2024-05-13T13:35:23","modified_gmt":"2024-05-13T09:35:23","slug":"new-caribbean-citizenship-by-investment-threshold","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.savoryandparnters.com\/blog\/new-caribbean-citizenship-by-investment-threshold\/","title":{"rendered":"New Caribbean Citizenship by Investment Threshold: Nations Agree to $200,000 effective June 30th, 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a historic decision, the Prime Ministers of <a href=\"https:\/\/old.savoryandparnters.com\/programs\/citizenship-by-investment\/antigua-and-barbuda\/about\/\">Antigua &amp; Barbuda<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/old.savoryandparnters.com\/programs\/citizenship-by-investment\/commonwealth-of-dominica\/about\/\">Dominica<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/old.savoryandparnters.com\/programs\/citizenship-by-investment\/grenada\/about\/\">Grenada<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/old.savoryandparnters.com\/programs\/citizenship-by-investment\/st-kitts-nevis\/about\/\">Saint Kitts &amp; Nevis<\/a> have agreed to raise the minimum investment threshold of their respective citizenship by investment programs to $200,000, effective June 30th, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The governments of these 4 nations have signed an MoU to also closely integrate and harmonize aspects of their programs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/old.savoryandparnters.com\/programs\/citizenship-by-investment\/saint-lucia\/about\/\">Saint Lucia<\/a> was the only Caribbean CBI nation that did not sign this MoU.<\/p>\n<p>Experts in the Citizenship by Investment industry say the terms in the agreement also aim to end past &#8220;underselling&#8221; issues and bring more integrity to the programs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs discussed in previous press releases and interviews over the past three years, we&#8217;ve been anticipating a price increase. This MoU formalises these expectations as well as setting a unified standard and prohibits underselling practices.
