The Saint Lucia Citizenship by Investment Unit announced on December 2021, a one-year extension of its Limited Time Offer (LTO), allowing applicants the opportunity to contribute to the island in exchange for second citizenship and Saint Lucian passport.<\/p>\n

COVID-19 Government Relief Bond<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

This limited-time offer makes the Saint Lucia Citizenship by Investment program<\/a> more affordable and more attractive to investors. The Special COVID-19 Relief Bond offer is available for a limited time up to December 31st, 2022.<\/p>\n

The investment amounts under the \u201cCOVID-19 Relief Bond\u201d<\/strong> are as follows:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Main applicant<\/strong> at USD 250,000<\/span> (5-year holding bond)<\/li>\n
  • Main applicant and one dependent<\/strong> at USD 250,000<\/span> (6-year holding bond)<\/li>\n
  • An applicant with up to 4 dependents<\/strong> at USD 250,000<\/span> (7-year holding period)<\/li>\n
  • An applicant with up to 4 dependents<\/strong> at USD 300,000<\/span> (5-year holding period)<\/li>\n
  • Additional qualifying dependents<\/strong> at USD 15,000<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Apart from the new government bond, the donation option and real estate option have also seen some changes.<\/p>\n

    National Economic Fund Donation Amount<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

    The investment amounts for donation to the National Economic Fund were also amended and continue as follows:<\/p>\n

    • Main applicant<\/strong> at USD 100,000 (no change)<\/span>
      \n<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Main applicant and spouse<\/strong> at USD 140,000<\/span> (Previously USD 165,000)<\/li>\n
    • Main applicant, spouse and two dependents<\/strong> at USD 150,000<\/span> (Previously USD 190,000)<\/li>\n
    • Each additional dependent<\/strong> (with single applicant or applicant and spouse) at USD 25,000<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Each additional dependent of a family of four members<\/strong> at USD 15,000<\/span> (Previously USD 25,000)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Add-On Dependents<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Newborn child of a citizen who is 12 months of age or below at USD 500<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Spouse of a citizen at USD 35,000<\/span><\/li>\n
      • A qualifying dependent at USD 25,000<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        There are also new incentives to invest in educational institutions within approved real estate projects.

        On a recent video, the CEO of Saint Lucia\u2019s Citizenship by Investment Unit<\/a>, Mr Nestor Alfred announced that the island continues open for business, and the citizenship by investment unit is working remotely to ensure the applications are processed and that there\u2019s grant of citizenship.<\/p>\n
